PRIVACY POLICY

Last updated: September 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data and use cookies and similar technologies on the RoboCamp website available at https://robocamp.eu/ (the “Website”).

The data controller is RoboCamp Sp. z o.o., ul. Trzy Lipy 3, 80-172 Gdansk, Poland. You can contact us about privacy and data protection matters at support@robocamp.eu.

We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”), the Polish Act of 12 July 2024 – Electronic Communications Law, and other applicable laws.

DATA WE PROCESS

Depending on how you use the Website, we may process the following data:

The Website is not intended for children to independently submit personal data. If we learn that a child’s personal data has been submitted without an appropriate legal basis, we will take appropriate steps, including deleting the data or restricting its processing.

We process data for the following purposes:

Our legitimate interests include, in particular, managing correspondence and relationships with users, protecting the security of the Website, preventing abuse, establishing, exercising and defending legal claims, measuring Website performance and – where permitted by law – marketing our own products and services.

IS PROVIDING DATA MANDATORY?

Providing personal data is generally voluntary. However, some data may be required to handle an enquiry, process an order or payment, or provide a service requested by the user. If such data is not provided, we may be unable to complete the relevant action or provide the requested service.

RECIPIENTS OF DATA

We may use external service providers that help us operate the Website, process payments and forms, communicate with users, maintain security, perform analytics and conduct marketing activities.

Recipients may include in particular:

Depending on the service and the relevant processing activity, individual providers may act as processors acting on our behalf, independent data controllers or, where appropriate to the nature of a particular service, joint controllers.

Data is shared only to the extent appropriate for the relevant purpose.

TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EEA

Some providers we use operate globally and may process data outside the European Economic Area. This may apply in particular to certain services provided by companies such as Google, Meta, Typeform or PayPal.

Where data is transferred outside the EEA, safeguards available under the GDPR are used depending on the specific transfer, such as a European Commission adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards.

Information about the safeguards used for a specific transfer and how to obtain a copy of them is available by contacting us at support@robocamp.eu.

COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

The Website uses cookies, localStorage, tags, pixels and similar technologies. These technologies may store information on the user’s device, access information on the device or enable certain technical signals to be transmitted while the Website is being used.

Under the Polish Electronic Communications Law, storing or accessing information on a user’s device generally requires prior information and consent unless the technology is necessary to transmit a communication or provide a service requested by the user.

We use the following model on the Website:

The specific set of technologies we use may change as the Website develops, our configuration changes or external providers update their services. For this reason, this Policy does not contain an exhaustive list of every cookie name, identifier or technical parameter.

The duration of individual technologies depends on their purpose, current configuration and provider settings. Some operate only for the duration of a session, while others may remain on the device for a longer period or until they are deleted. Users can delete website data and cookies through their browser settings.

NECESSARY TECHNOLOGIES

Necessary technologies are used, among other things, for the proper operation and security of the Website and for remembering the user’s cookie choice.

This category may also include technologies required to provide a feature that the user chooses to activate, such as a form or payment process.

Technologies are treated as necessary only to the extent that they are genuinely required to provide the relevant service or perform an action requested by the user.

We use Google Tag Manager to manage tags and communicate consent status to compatible tools.

The Website uses Google Consent Mode in its Advanced implementation. Before Google Tag Manager loads, the default consent states for analytics and advertising are set to denied. Google tags may then load but adjust their behaviour according to the current consent state.

Where the user has not consented to optional technologies, Google tags should not write or read optional analytics or advertising cookies covered by the denied consent state. However, under Advanced Consent Mode they may send cookieless signals or pings to Google.

These signals may include limited information relating to tag operation and Website usage, such as consent status, timestamps, browser or device information, referrer information, information about the page being visited or the occurrence of a particular event, and information transmitted as part of standard internet communications, such as an IP address. Google may use these signals, among other things, to produce aggregated or modelled statistics relating to user behaviour and conversions.

Rejecting optional cookies therefore does not mean that all communication between Google tags and Google servers is completely blocked, but it limits how those tools operate in accordance with the consent state.

After consent is given, Google tools may – depending on the current configuration of the Website and the scope of the consent – use analytics or advertising technologies, perform fuller measurement of events and conversions, and process data required for advertising features.

We use Google Analytics to analyse the use and performance of the Website. We may use Google Ads and related technologies to measure campaign performance and conversions and – after obtaining the required consent – for remarketing and other advertising features.

META

We may use Meta tools, in particular Meta Pixel, to measure advertising effectiveness and conversions, create audiences and conduct remarketing through services such as Facebook and Instagram.

The Meta tags used by RoboCamp do not have the same built-in consent mechanisms as Google tags, so we configure them so that Meta marketing technologies are activated only after the relevant marketing consent has been given.

If the user does not consent to optional marketing technologies, Meta tags requiring such consent are not activated.

If Facebook Customer Chat or another Meta feature requiring marketing technologies is available on the Website, it is also activated only after the relevant consent has been obtained.

TYPEFORM

The Website may include forms provided through Typeform.

If a user chooses to open or complete a form, we may use technologies necessary to display the form, maintain its security, submit responses and provide the service requested by the user.

Typeform may also use other cookies or similar technologies. Technologies that are not necessary to operate the form and require consent should be subject to the relevant consent-management mechanisms.

PAYMENTS

If a user chooses a payment method provided by an external provider such as PayPal/Braintree, technologies necessary to initiate, secure and process that payment may be activated.

The external payment provider may process data under its own privacy rules and may act as an independent data controller for certain processing activities.

When first visiting the Website, users can accept all optional technologies or reject them.

Consent can subsequently be withdrawn by contacting us at support@robocamp.eu.

Users can also manage cookies and website data through their browser settings. Depending on the browser, users can usually delete cookies and website data, prevent cookies from being stored or restrict how they operate.

Deleting or blocking some technologies may affect the operation of the Website, forms, payments or other features requested by the user.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

PROFILING AND AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING

We may use analytics and marketing data to assess advertising performance and – where the user has given the required consent – tailor marketing messages to users’ potential interests.

This may include profiling carried out through advertising tools such as Google Ads or Meta Pixel.

We do not make decisions about users based solely on automated processing that would produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect them.

USER RIGHTS

Data subjects have, subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, in particular:

Where we process data for direct marketing purposes, users have the right to object at any time to such processing, including profiling to the extent that it is related to direct marketing. After such an objection, we will no longer process the data for those purposes.

To exercise your rights, contact us at support@robocamp.eu.

The Website may contain links to other websites. External websites operate under their own privacy practices, and we recommend reviewing their privacy policies before providing data or using their services.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy, in particular where the Website, the technologies we use, our data-processing practices or applicable laws change.

The current version of the Policy will be published on this page together with the date of the latest update.
